Beaumont brings to Metrion over 20 years’ sales, business development and marketing experience within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. He initially trained as a chemist and obtained both his honours degree and MSc from the University of Sheffield. Beaumont worked at Genzyme Pharmaceuticals before moving on to Evotec in 2003 as Vice President Business Development. He also held sales positions at Dextra Laboratories, PhosphonicS and Aptuit. 

Metrion also announced the promotion of Andrew Southan to Chief Operating Officer.
