The Nottingham-based CRO HistologiX has appointed Barbara McManus as new managing director to move the company into the next phase of growth. She follows to Andrew Lawrence, Managing Director for the last two years and now retiring.

MacManus started in 2018 as Project Manager at the virtual biobank Tissue Solutions Ltd, with HistologiX a part of Intelligent Tissue Group. The CRO is offering Histology, Immunohistochemistry and Digital Pathology services and solutions to clients from Pharma and Biotech. McManus brings more than twenty years of client management experience within the Life Sciences Sector. She worked for large multinationals and small business start-ups such as BioOutsource and MD Biosciences.
