In the beginning of September, Andrew Topen joined EuropaBio as the new Chairman. He started in September 2019 at Novartis and leads the company's overall public affairs strategy and strategic relationships within Region Europe. Before that, the communication expert has worked about 14 years in different sections for Pfizer. He succeeds Tjerk de Ruiter, EuropaBio Chairman since 2018. The former CEO of Corbion is now a member of Novo Advisory Group.
