Nanolitre dispensing
The acoustic dispensing technology of the Echo-Series Liquid Handlers has revolutionised the transfer of liquids.
It enables high-precision and contact-free liquid handling at nanolitre range for high throughput applications (sample processing in 384, 1,536, or 3,456 well plates). Due to tiny dispensing volumes (from 2.5 nl), assays can be miniaturised, and thus, reagent costs can be saved. The completely contact-free transfer of liquids utilising sound energy virtually eliminates the risk of cross-contamination and, thus, improves the data quality of scientific results. Fast any-well to any-well transfers allow highly complex, multi-component assays and experiments to be performed. For multi-device workflows, the Echo Liquid Handlers can be seamlessly integrated with Biomek pipetting robots or Access robotic systems.
