uniQure: Doctors orders
Dutch gene therapy developer uniQure has appointed Steven l. Zelenkofske as its Chief Medical Officer.
Zelenkofske, who holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Emory University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, previously held leadership positions at AstraZeneca, Sanofi-Aventis, Boston Scientific, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Most recently, he served as VP and Therapeutic Area Head of Cardiovascular/Metabolism for AstraZeneca. Prior to that, he served as CMO for Regado Biosciences, a US-based developer of RNA aptamer therapies.
Zelenkofske succeeds Christian Meyer.
