Roche Diagnostics: Up the ladder
Claus Haberda will be the new Managing Director at Roche Diagnostics GmbH, succeeding Ursula Redeker, who will return to Basel.
The 56-year-old Haberda began his career in 1992 as Head of Production Planning and Controlling in the Biotechnology Division at Roche in Penzberg (then still Boehringer Mannheim). He later became Global Head of Finance at Roche Applied Science. In 2009, he became head of the Penzberg plant. Since March 2017, the food technologist has been responsible for Finance and Controlling at Roche Diagnostics. He will continue in this role in addition to his new duties as CEO of Roche Diagnostics and member of the Executive Board of Roche Deutschland Holding GmbH.
After six years as CEO, Ursula Redeker will take over responsibilities in the global, strategic area of Roche in Basel.
