BASF: Crew change in health and nutrition

Among other appointments, BASF has named Melanie Maas-Brunner as new President Nutrition and Health, effective April 1, 2017. Previously, Maas-Brunner held the position of Senior Vice President Performance Materials Europe.

Maas-Brunner, who holds a PhD in chemistry, joined BASF in 1997. She started her carreer at RWTH Aachen and University of Ottawa. At BASF, she initially worked as a research scientist, and later held several leadership positions.

Maas-Brunner succeeds Saori Dubourg, who the Supervisory Board of BASF SE appointed to the Board of Executive Directors.
