BioIVT | Human AB Serum – Plasma-derived
Serum-supplemented cell culture media remains the gold standard for obtaining near in vivo conditions. Thats why we have expanded our product line to include GMP-grade Human AB Serum.
We now offer:
- GMP-grade serum in bottles or bags
- Plasma-derived and off-the-clot varieties
- Custom heat-inactivation to further reduce lot-to-lot variability
- Growth factors and nutrients to help you reach therapeutic doses faster
Human AB Serum is collected from healthy male donors of the AB serotype. The plasma-derived serum is collected at FDA-licensed facilities in the USA. The serum is produced by converting plasma collected from Human AB donors by plasmapheresis. The plasma is then converted to serum by a process of defibrination.
All donor units are tested at the collection facility for viral markers in accordance with current FDA regulations and found to be non-reactive. The final serum product also undergoes extensive quality control testing before release for distribution.
