Santhera: The doctor takes charge
Developer of treatments for neuromuscular and neuro-ophthalmological diseases Santhera Pharmaceuticals has hired Kristina Sjöblom Nygren as Chief Medical Officer and Head of Development.
Nygren, who studied chemistry and biochemistry and graduated as a medical doctor from the Karolinska Institute, Sweden, has worked in drug development for almost two decades. She has held positions at Wyeth, AstraZeneca and Biovitrum. Most recently, Nygren lead the clinical development at Sobi as VP and Head of Clinical Development.
