Qureight’s new COO, Rebecca Simmons, brings extensive experience as an operational leader in medical research and deep tech. She previously served as COO at quantum computing company Riverlane. During this time, the company grew significantly in terms of both headcount and revenue. Simmons played a key role in closing funding rounds and raising more than £100m in venture capital. She also supported business development, including securing over £20m in government grants and contracts. Before joining Riverlane, Simmons was deputy director and co-founder of the THIS Institute (The Healthcare Improvement Studies Institute), where she built strategic partnerships with key players in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).
