EIT Innovator Award: Marc Julien awarded

The award by Europe’s largest innovation network, the the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), recognises teams with high impact products and services and is awarded EUR 50 000. This year’s winners were unveiled in mid-October

Marc Julien, who heads Diabeloop together with co-founder Erik Huneker, commented: "Partners are essential as nobody has the skills to face all the challenges of building innovative products and entering the market on their own. The EIT Community has helped us foster cross-border cooperation in a major way." Diabeloop develops an automated type-1 diabetes management solution specifically designed for children.
