At this year’s PharmaCongress & PharmaTechnica on 19/20 March 2024 at the RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden delegates will benefit from more than 100 speakers #sharing challenges and solutions in practice in lectures and case studies. They can choose and create their individual conference programme from 11 conference tracks ranging from aseptic production, modern barrier systems, packaging materials to digitalisation and sustainability.
Novel drugs and therapeutic approaches based on cell and gene therapies represent an innovative area in medicine based on advances in genetics, molecular biology and cell biology. The GMP PharmaCongress has also been taking into account such developments since 2023. The conference tracks on ATMPs/cell and gene therapies and on Vaccines address issues around these novel products and therapeutic approaches. The ATMP conference track will address manufacturing challenges, e.g. GMP regulations, but also quality control issues, appropriate ways to maintain, assure and control the expected quality. A Vaccines conference track will focus on the fact that the development and production of vaccines places specific, high demands on the manufacturing pharmaceutical industry – as the handling and safety with living organisms goes beyond the requirements of classical drug production.
At the parallel GMP PharmaTechnica Expo delegates will also have the opportunity to get to know and find out about the latest technical developments and services. The expo with around 115 specialist exhibitors features providers from technical fields, consumables suppliers as well as laboratory service providers, consulting firms and many more.
