When Sanofi sells its animal health division Merial, CEO Carsten Hellmann will join Danish allergy specialist ALK Albello as the next President and CEO. He will also give up his seat on the Executive Committee and his position of Executive Vice President at Sanofi.
Hellmann holds a BSc in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and an MSc from Lancaster University in Information Management. Before joining Sanofi in 2013, he was Executive VP of Global Sales at Chr. Hansen Holding AS. Before that, he held positions at Nunc Group, Synthelabo and Pronosco.
