BIOSPAIN 2026 will take place from 29 September to 1 October at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), bringing together the global biotechnology community under the claim “Bioinnovation that clicks.” Organized by AseBio in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the Basque Government and the Basque Health Cluster, the event reinforces its role as Spain’s flagship biotech congress and one of Europe’s leading life sciences gatherings.
For the first time in its history, BIOSPAIN becomes an annual event, reflecting the sector’s growing momentum and international demand. The 2025 edition in Barcelona welcomed more than 2,400 attendees from 35 countries, confirming BIOSPAIN as a premier platform for business development, investment and strategic networking.
Hosted for the third time in the Basque Country, BIOSPAIN 2026 will showcase one of Europe’s most dynamic life sciences ecosystems, home to more than 300 companies, 20 research centers, four universities and world-class hospitals.
The programme will address key scientific, industrial and regulatory trends shaping biotechnology, including advanced therapies, AI-driven drug development, CRISPR, RNA technologies, foodtech, sustainable bioeconomy, biomanufacturing and European biotech policy.
With partnering opportunities, international investors, exhibition space and a dedicated Talent Day, BIOSPAIN 2026 will offer a unique platform to connect innovation, business and talent.
