Maria Lisa Knudsen is the new Managing Director at the Swedish start-up AAX Biotech. She brings extensive international experience in research and business development to the company. After completing her doctorate in infection biology at the Karolinska Institutet, she initially moved to the United States and Singapore for research. When she came back, she started her industry career and became Business Development Director at Salipro Biotech AB in Sweden. AAX Biotech is developing next generation antibody therapeutics for cancer treatment.
