Virbac: Managing global operations

French vet-med maker Virbac has named Frédéric Jodogne as Corporate Industrial Operations director in early April. He is in charge of implementing, organizing and leading supply chain and industrial strategies of the Group. 

Jodogne, who obtained his master in chemistry and bio-industry in Gembloux, Belgium, built his experience mainly in GlaxoSmithKline. From 1998 to 2003, he managed the production of different lines of vaccine at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals. Between 2003 and 2005, he was in charge of the quality assurance of international investment projects still at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals.

From 2005 to 2015, Jodogne worked on several international GSKbio sites: in the US as technical services senior manager in the context of the acquisition of Corixa by GSK (2005-2008); in Hungary as manufacturing operations senior manager (2008-2011); then in Singapore, as site director (2011-2015). Back in Belgium in 2015, he was  director of manufacturing of Hep B, Hep A and Malaria Bulk vaccine at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals.
