During the three conference days, leading experts will present successful “drop-in” solutions that maintain the existing structure of the chemical industry but switch the carbon source from fossil to renewable carbon. At the same time, a new chemical industry is emerging with novel building blocks and polymers, with innovative processes for example from biotechnology and electrochemistry, and with entirely new functionalities.
